USMEF Statement on Senate Confirmation of Doug McKalip

On Dec. 22, the U.S. Senate confirmed Doug McKalip to serve as chief agricultural negotiator for the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative.

USMEF congratulates Ambassador McKalip on his confirmation and thanks the U.S. Senate for taking this action. With the U.S. currently engaged in negotiations with several key trading partners, filling this important position was absolutely essential.
