USMEF Media Conference Call – Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2:30 p.m. Eastern time
The U.S. Meat Export Federation (USMEF) will conduct a media conference call on Tuesday, Nov. 5, prior to the USMEF Strategic Planning Conference in Tucson, Arizona.
The conference call will begin at 2:30 p.m. Eastern time (12:30 p.m. local time) and will feature opening remarks from:
Dan Halstrom, USMEF president and CEO
Joel Haggard, USMEF senior vice president, Asia Pacific
Jihae Yang, USMEF-Korea director
Gerardo Rodriguez, USMEF marketing director for Mexico, Central America and the Dominican Republic
Their comments will be followed by a question-and-answer session. Participants should call 1-866-519-2804 and enter passcode 770447. (If you are calling from an area that cannot access this toll-free number, please dial 1-719-234-7307 and use the same passcode.)
For reporters planning to attend the USMEF Strategic Planning Conference, the call will be held in the Indigo room at the Westin La Paloma.
(Please note that this call was originally scheduled for Tuesday morning. It is being moved to the afternoon because USDA will release September red meat export data that morning, and this will allow the panelists to review these results prior to the call.)
No RSVP is required to join the call, but if you plan to attend in person or have any questions please email Joe Schuele, USMEF vice president of communications, or call him at 303-547-0030.
