The U.S. Meat Export Federation (USMEF) works internationally to build demand for U.S. meat and takes the lead in expanding markets. The following video news releases were developed to highlight opportunities for U.S. meat in Guatemala and Chile.

(1:52): As economies in Chile and Guatemala grow, so do opportunities to increase U.S. red meat trade. USMEF is working in these countries to expand awareness of U.S. meat.
(1:52): Consumers in Guatemala typically shy away from pork. USMEF is working with pork producers in that country to increase consumption and demand for pork, including products from the United States.
(2:00): Different opportunities exist for U.S. beef and pork in Chile. USMEF explores these demands and identifies how U.S. meat fits into this growing market.
The U.S. Meat Export Federation is the trade association responsible for developing international markets for the U.S. red meat industry and is funded by USDA, exporting companies, and the beef, pork, lamb, corn, sorghum and soybean checkoff programs.
