Suggested Lead: USMEF President and CEO Philip M. Seng is in Taiwan to help celebrate the return of U.S. beef after a 16-month absence initiated in December 2003 when a case of bovine spongiform encephalopathy or “mad cow disease” was found in the United States.
In a live teleconference from Taiwan, Seng talked about the return of U.S. beef, export conditions, market forecasts and promotion plans.
