Blach says that although the export market is very important, it needs to be put in context of the entire market for the animals.

USMEF held its annual Strategic Marketing and Planning Conference in Cancun Nov. 1-3.

The U.S. Meat Export Federation is the trade association responsible for developing international markets for the U.S. red meat industry and is funded by USDA, exporting companies, and the beef, pork, lamb, corn, sorghum and soybean checkoff programs.
