Media Registration Open for USMEF Strategic Planning Conference, Nov. 6-8

The U.S. Meat Export Federation (USMEF) Strategic Planning Conference will be held Nov. 6-8 in Tucson, Arizona. The conference is open to media and the registration fee is waived, so to register please email Joe Schuele, USMEF vice president of communications, or call him at 303-547-0030 with your contact information and the name and address of your news outlet.

Featured speakers at the conference include Purdue University Professor of Agricultural Economics Allan Gray and Wendy Cutler, vice president and managing director of the Asia Society Policy Institute. Attendees will also receive market updates from several of USMEF's international directors.

To open the week, USMEF’s regular press conference/media conference call is set for Tuesday, Nov. 5 at 9:30 a.m. Eastern time (7:30 a.m. local time). Panelists will include USMEF President and CEO Dan Halstrom and senior staff from USMEF’s international offices. Please mark your calendar — call-in details will be distributed in advance.
