WNAX Radio: Dan Halstrom on Expanded Beef and Pork Access in China
The USDA Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) has updated its Export Library for China to reflect expanded access for U.S. beef and pork. These changes were among the provisions negotiated in the U.S.-China "Phase One" trade agreement.
USMEF President and CEO Dan Halstrom spoke with Tom Riter of Yankton, S.D.-based WNAX Radio on the prospects for export growth to China now that more U.S. plants are eligible to serve the market and can ship a wider range of products.
