West Coast Strike Confirmed For May 1

The International Longshore and Warehouse Union (ILWU) will shut down the West Coast ports on Thursday, May 1, International Labor Day, to protest U.S. involvement in Iraq and Afghanistan. 

The Agriculture Transportation Coalition (AgTC) warns that the following day will be more congested than usual.
