New Statement Required On Exports To Venezuela

An export requirement for sending pork and pork products to Venezuela has changed to include that “the meat was derived from animals that were born or raised in the United States or Canada.” See the required statement under Venezuela in the FSIS Export Library.

Changes In Remarks Section For Pork Exports

Companies exporting “pork lard and/or pork tissues” should consult the Colombia entry in the Food Safety And Inspection Service (FSIS) Library of Export Requirements. Several changes have been made in the eight statements required.
