FSIS Replaces Two E-mails with askFSIS

Members should be aware that the Food Safety & Inspection Service (FSIS) is discontinuing its two e-mails, TechCenter@fsis.usda.gov and FSIS.Labeling@fsis.usda.gov as of Jan. 2, 2009. The agency is replacing them with its new askFSISservice.

Anyone who has sent questions to TechCenter@fsis.usda.gov or FSIS.Labeling@fsis.usda.gov had an askFSIS account set up automatically, and the application generated a password and sent the information to the contact.

For any problems with the askFSIS login, contact the askFSIS administrators at 1-800-233-3935 (hit zero for the operator).
