USMEF Introduces “Insight” – A Direct Look Into International Markets
Among USMEF’s greatest assets are its people. Located in offices worldwide and conducting programs in more than 80 countries, they have a unique view of international meat trade. Today, we are introducing a new information feature called “Insight” designed to provide you, our members, with a look at markets as only USMEF staff can present it.
Joel Haggard, USMEF senior vice president of the Asia Pacific region, was in Taiwan this week and talked with meat importers, retail operators and government officials. From these discussions, Haggard provides insight to U.S. beef opportunities in the market and identifies factors that are affecting demand.
