USMEF Campaign Improving U.S. Pork Image In Guatemala Yields Positive Results
A USMEF campaign conducted last October and November in Guatemala City was designed to enhance awareness of U.S. pork and mitigate negative perceptions of consuming fresh pork.
Results of surveys conducted before and after the promotion period show the campaign had a positive impact. Guatemalan consumers are more aware of U.S. pork after the campaign. They are more likely to think of the U.S. product when shopping for pork at a supermarket or ordering a meal at a restaurant.
