USMEF Hosts Pork Industry Leadership Team

Published: Dec 20, 2013
USMEF hosted a pork industry leadership team meeting last week in Denver with representatives from the National Pork Board (NPB) and National Pork Producers Council (NPPC) to review trends, issues and strategies related to the international market for U.S. pork. Key areas discussed included market access, marketing, research and the global strategy for pork exports.

“These meetings are a valuable opportunity for USMEF to work collaboratively with the leadership of the U.S. pork industry to ensure we are aligned in both our strategies as well as the tactics to carry out those strategies to maximize value for the U.S. industry through the growth of pork exports,” said John Hinners, USMEF assistant vice president for industry relations.
