USMEF-China Staff Update

USMEF China marketing representative Steve Mo has left the organization after 14 years of service to start his own business as a meat importer and distributor. Rachel Deng (rdeng@139.com) is currently handling inquiries and outstanding business on behalf of USMEF in South China, and Ming Liang has joined USMEF as marketing manager in Shanghai, ensuring that USMEF marketing services nationwide are not interrupted.
“Steve and the various teams he has led over the last 14 years have made an exceptional contribution to the marketing and sales of U.S. beef and pork to China,” said Joel Haggard, USMEF Asia-Pacific senior vice president. “We will miss his leadership, professionalism and wisdom, but we are pleased to hear that Steve intends to remain in the meat industry, and we look forward to hearing from him as his new business grows and prospers.”
