In an interview with NCBA's Cattlemen to Cattlemen filmed at the Port of New Orleans, USMEF Chair-elect Dean Meyer, a livestock and grain producer from Rock Rapids, Iowa, discusses the importance of beef exports and the value exports deliver back to U.S. farmers and ranchers. Meyer also discusses transportation challenges and other headwinds exporters have faced in 2022, but notes that beef exports are still on a record pace and global demand continues to expand.
