Taiwan Restricts Travelers From SARS Sites
The government of Taiwan has placed a two-week moratorium on travelers entering Taiwan from China, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Canada and all other countries with cases of severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS). Taiwan will also impose a 10-day quarantine on travelers coming from affected regions. SARS deaths currently total 375 people out of more than 5,400 infected.
