Russian Pork Plant Inspection Due To Begin June 9

The Russian veterinarian who is coming to inspect pork slaughter plants and cold storages in the Western region of the U.S. — North and South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Montana, Wyoming, Idaho, Colorado, New Mexico, Utah, Arizona, Washington, Oregon and California — is scheduled to begin the tour on June 9.  Any plants in this region that want to be on the Russian approved pork list should contact USMEF Export Services Coordinator Ann Spaeth at aspaeth@usmef.org with the establishment number, contact name, plant address and phone number.
