Bilingual Labeling Manual – USMEF has pulled together examples of labels now required by 11 different countries and included them in this easy-to-use member manual. Two versions of the manual are available to members (click on bolded link to go directly to the version you need):

·         If your office uses Word, this may be the easiest version to use. Caution, however, your version of Word must support specific extended character sets to correctly “read” the labels (XP should work).

·         Like many documents on this site, the Adobe Acrobat format may be easiest to open, print and use. In addition, your printer should be able to cut the label you need using the “graphic” tool in Acrobat and paste it into his system.

The manual also is accessible through the member section of the Exporter Toolbox, located at /Export-Sell/find-international-buyers.asp. If you have questions about the manual, contact Kevin Smith (ksmith@usmef.org) or regarding Acrobat, contact Kendall Hays (khays@usmef.org).
