Ukraine Lifts Suspension on U.S. Pork Exports

Ukraine is the latest trading partner to remove all A-H1N1 influenza-related restrictions on U.S. pork exports, effective June 15. Ukraine's suspension, in place since April 21, had been among the most severe in that it contained no exceptions for heat-treated pork products. The FSIS Export Library has now been updated to read as follows:

All raw and heat-treated pork and pork products shipped after April 21, 2009, and prior to June 15, 2009, are ineligible. All raw and heat-treated pork and pork products shipped on or after June 15, 2009, are eligible.
