Trade Issues Said Resolved

USDA has informed USMEF that issues surrounding various rejections of U.S. exports to Ukraine have been resolved and that the market is now open for U.S. beef and pork products.  USDA has advised that if problems should occur with a beef or pork shipment, USDA should be notified immediately so that the issue can be resolved as quickly as possible.

For information on the requirements for beef and pork exports to the Ukraine, please see the FSIS Library of Export Requirements for Ukraine: http://www.fsis.usda.gov/Regulations_&_Policies/Ukraine_Requirements/index.asp and the USDA-AMS Export Verification LT-30 Program site: http://www.ams.usda.gov/lsg/arc/arc1030a.pdf
