U.S. Farm Report Spotlights USMEF's Global Processing Seminar

As part of its "College Road Show" series, U.S. Farm Report visited the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, where USMEF recently conducted a global meat processing seminar.

The seminar, funded by the National Corn Growers Association, was aimed at educating Latin American meat processors about the advantages of using U.S. pork and beef as raw material for further processed products, and to introduce them to alternative cuts and new product development concepts. Participants included representatives of further processing companies located in Mexico, Colombia, Guatemala, Honduras, Chile, Peru and Jamaica.
