Travis Arp Provides Insights on Congestion at U.S.-Mexico Border Crossings
Texas is requiring commercial trucks entering from Mexico to undergo additional inspections by the Texas Department of Public Safety, per a recent order issued by Gov. Greg Abbott. In response, protesters began blocking southbound lanes at critical points of entry. Travis Arp, USMEF assistant vice president for export services, provided insights on the situation to MEAT+POULTRY Magazine and Meatingplace (subscription required).
