Caution With Bone Fragments Recommended

USMEF members should take note that while Taiwan and Singapore allow imports of U.S. boneless beef, government inspectors may be critical in their evaluation of bone fragments. USMEF advises caution for fear that loads could be rejected due to bone fragments. USMEF is working with the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) to establish bone defect criteria for exports.

New FSIS Certificate For Wild Boar Meat

Companies exporting wild boar meat to Switzerland must begin using a new FSIS letterhead certificate immediately.  The certificate can be found in the online FSIS Export Library of Requirements. It must accompany the FSIS Form 9060-5 for exporting wild boar meat to Switzerland.
