U.S. Beef Festival Popular At Evergreen International Hotel

Chevalier Teppanyaki and Steakhouse at the Evergreen International Hotel in Taichung has been serving only high quality U.S. beef for the past two months. Diners prefer tender and juicy steaks offered in high quality and well marbled U.S. beef.

“Our chefs find U.S. beef is favorable to cook with” said Vivian Hu, hotel public relations manager. “The quality is extremely high and the flavor is unique.”

USMEF provided items such as table cards, menu inserts and banners to attract diners to the restaurant and also identify all the advantages of ordering U.S. beef.

The Evergreen International Hotel is on city's main thoroughfare, minutes from downtown commercial district. It is a popular place for business and special occasion dinners.

U.S. Beef Grading Explained For Restaurant Diners

Lawry’s The Prime Rib restaurant introduced U.S. beef grading in its latest newsletter provided to Taiwan consumers. According to Natasha Chou, Lawry’s marketing assistant, the explanation helps guests understand how Lawry’s always provides the highest quality beef.

“When our guests taste premier U.S. beef, they come back for it time and time again,” said Joyce Sun, general manager of Lawry’s in Taipei.

USMEF worked with Lawry’s to help provide factual information for their consumers. USMEF also helps Lawry’s attract diners by noting with banners, displays, menu advertisements and table cards that U.S. beef is once again on the menu.
