U.S. Beef Production Systems Audit Announcement Delayed

South Korea Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry officials today (June 7) announced a delay in the results of their U.S. beef production systems audit. Officials conducted the systems audit May 6-21 at 37 U.S. plants interested in exporting beef to South Korea.

South Korean officials indicated they are discussing key technical issues with USDA. It is unknown at this time when these issues will be resolved.
