Singapore BEV Plan Details Online

Singapore ended its ban on U.S. beef earlier this month and details are now in the FSIS Export Library of Requirements. Singapore will allow chilled and frozen boneless beef derived from animals less than 30 months of age, but not beef from Canadian-born cattle. Eligible beef must be produced under an approved AMS Beef Export Verification (BEV) program to Singapore. Information about the EV program for Singapore and a list of BEV approved establishments are online.

All companies exporting to Singapore are required to fill out a one-time affidavit that the beef is not derived from Mexican cattle imported for immediate slaughter. Instructions for Filing the Affidavit and a Sample Affidavit are online.
