New Edition Of FSIS 9450-3 To Certify Raw Pork Goes Into Effect Feb. 1

USMEF reminds exporters sending raw pork and pork byproducts, including bacon and pork for retail sale to Russia, to use the new edition (11/16/2006) of FSIS 9450-3, Veterinary Certificate for Frozen Pork Meat and By-Products Exported into the Russian Federation for Processing or Retail Sale, to certify products starting tomorrow, Feb. 1.

Also, as a reminder, companies wanting to export beef to Russia must have contacted and submitted an export verification (EV) plan to the AMS ARC Branch at ARCBranch@usda.gov.
