Russia Lifts Florida Pork Ban; Azerbaijan also Clears U.S. Pork

Russia has cleared U.S. pork originating from Florida, which removes the last of Russia’s state-by-state, H1N1-related suspensions on U.S. pork exports. More than 20 states were impacted by these suspensions earlier this year, but all except Florida were cleared several weeks ago. The effective date of this change is October 15, but the revisions to the FSIS Export Library were posted earlier today.

Azerbaijan has also lifted its H1N1-related suspension of U.S. pork exports, effective for all pork products with a production date of August 25 or later. This change was also posted today in the Export Library.
