Plant management must develop a control program assuring only raw pork slaughtered, processed and stored in approved establishments is certified for export to the Russian Federation.

Effective Feb. 1, 2007, a new edition of FSIS 9450-3 must be used to certify raw pork and pork byproducts, including bacon, for export to the Russian Federation. Until Feb. 1, the previous two editions of this form can be used.

For more information, see Export Requirements for Russia in the FSIS Export Library.
