Beef Inspection Teams Conclude Audits Of U.S. Facilities

Three beef inspection teams from Russia, which have been in the United States for three weeks, concluded audits of beef facilities and sampling of cold storages yesterday (Sept. 26) in accordance with the United States’ bilateral agreement with Russia.

An exit meeting between USDA and the Russian audit teams took place today (Sept. 27) in Washington, D.C. The inspection teams now will return to Russia, arriving Sunday in Moscow, and from there will submit their audit findings to culminate in a final report by the Russian government.
