New Regulation Comes Into Effect April 30

A new Russian veterinary regulation for all types of imported meat, poultry, fish and variety meat takes effect on April 30 and requires an original veterinary certificate or a certified copy (stamp and signature) to accompany each container prior to or when the shipment arrives.

USMEF-Moscow is seeking clarification on a number of issues related to this regulation including whether a certified copy of the certificate will have to accompany the container.
