Latest Revised Quota Lists Published By Russian Ministry

Following the latest mistakes in calculation (see April 19 Export Newsline), the Russian Ministry of Economic Development and Trade (MEDT) has published new lists of companies which received quotas in the second allocation.

USMEF-Russia reports that most of the changes in allocation in the new lists are insignificant — plus or minus 15-30 metric tons (mt). One company — Gazreserve (Altair) — has been allocated an additional volume exceeding 1,000 mt.

The MEDT is making importers which received quota amounts in the second allocation reconfirm their licenses. Importers told USMEF-Russia that the MEDT has already started to issue new licenses.
