U.S. Beef Eligible July 1 And U.S. Pork Must Comply To EU Standards Oct. 1

Two changes affecting U.S. meat exports to Romania were announced this week. First, Romania will accept U.S. beef and beef products that comply with European Union (EU) requirements starting July 1. Second, Romania will require U.S. pork meat exports to comply with EU requirements starting Oct. 1.
