Lambregts will also discuss key economic indicators, policy moves, and market dynamics to reveal who truly holds the cards in today’s rapidly shifting environment.

Thursday’s general session will focus on the future of North American agricultural trade, with leading experts offering insights on the upcoming review of the U.S.-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA) and on how recent policy actions have impacted trade within the region. Panelists will include Kenneth Smith Ramos, who served as Mexico´s chief negotiator for the modernization of NAFTA, which led to the signing and ratification of USMCA, and John Masswohl, director emeritus of international relations for the Canadian Cattle Association.

USMEF’s international team will also be on hand to discuss market conditions in key regions and detail the creative strategies utilized to boost demand and strengthen partnership engagement.

In addition to the general sessions, the Beef, Pork, Exporter and Feedgrain/Oilseed breakouts will offer detailed discussions on topics pertinent to each sector. All registrants are welcome and encouraged to participate in any breakout sessions, regardless of their membership sector.

The conference will be held at the JW Marriott, situated in the heart of downtown Indianapolis. This venue offers convenient access to 300 shopping, dining and entertainment options, as well as six vibrant cultural districts.
