Pig Tails for Barbados: 5 Percent Duty

Pig Tails for Barbados: 5 Percent Duty

The H. Jason Jones company wants to import a container of salted/brined pig tails into Barbados every 3–4 months. H. Jason Jones is part of the Kensington Court group and the pig tails are for its own butcher shop as well as for wholesale and foodservice distribution. Although little U.S. pork is exported to Barbados because of the hefty 200 percent tariff, salted pig tails carry only a 5 percent duty, so U.S. pig tails are highly competitive. Please contact Ms. Sharon Christie at e-mail: sachristie@kensingtoncourt.com.
