ARC 1030 U Program EV Program For Bovine Updated

For U.S. exporters participating in the export verification (EV) program for Panama, Colombia and Peru, the ARC 1030 U Program EV Program for Bovine has been revised to include the following:

4.1.1 Slaughter, dressing and processing procedures must ensure the hygienic removal of the brain, skull, eyes, trigeminal ganglia, spinal cord, vertebral column (including the vertebrae of the tail, the transverse processes of the thoracic and lumbar vertebrae, and the wing of the sacrum) and dorsal root ganglia from cattle 30 months of age and older, and the tonsils and distal ileum of the small intestine from cattle regardless of age, to prevent the contamination of these tissues with beef products being produced for export to countries included in the EV Program for Bovine.
