New Questionnaire, New Deadline In Pork Antidumping Case
Exporters now have until August 12 (instead of July 8) to submit answers to a new questionnaire soon to be released by Economia, Mexico’s economy ministry, according to the legal team retained by the industry coalition of USMEF, the American Meat Institute (AMI) and the National Pork Producers Council (NPPC). A new version of the questionnaire should be available tomorrow. The questionnaire should be sent directly by Economia to companies named in the investigation, but if you do not receive a copy, USMEF will post the questionnaire at www.usmef.org. Copies can also be obtained from USMEF’s Richard Fritz (rfritz@usmef.org) or Kevin Smith (ksmith@usmef.org) as soon as they’re available.
Economia has also defined the scope of the investigation to include hams and shoulders (HS codes 0203.12.01 and 0203.22.01), but exclude boneless hams.
