New Documentation Requirements for Exports to China

The Agriculture Transportation Coalition (AgTC) reports that the World Shipping Council is alerting all U.S. exporters to the new advance documentation requirements China is imposing on all its imports. This is important information for companies which ship to China.

Earlier reports that China would require ocean carriers to get approval from Chinese authorities before loading containers are apparently not correct, but ocean carriers will need complete bill of lading data in time to file everything with Chinese Customs 24 hours before vessel loading in the U.S.
