Lebanon Reopens Market To U.S. Beef

The USDA announced yesterday (June 2) that Lebanon has reopened its market to imports of U.S. beef from animals under 30 months of age.

In 2003, according to the USDA, the United States exported $643,000 worth of beef and beef products to Lebanon. It is the third country in the Middle East region to reopen its market to U.S. beef.
