USMEF Holds Seminar on U.S. Pork Trends

U.S. meat importers, processors, distributors and retail store managers recently learned about U.S. pork trends at a USMEF seminar in Monterrey.

The seminar included presentations from an array of USMEF members regarding U.S. pork products and packing trends. A subject of keen interest was the importance of maintaining the cold chain, and the consequences of breaking it.

The seminar educated and generated new ideas, suggestions and marketing ideas for U.S. pork in the Mexican marketplace.

After the seminar, USMEF held a buffet dinner with U.S. pork dishes, allowing attendees to experience firsthand the quality of U.S. pork along with an opportunity to extend discussions among each other and the speakers.
