Puerto Vallarta Seminars Increase U.S. Meat Sales

USMEF partnered with U.S. Dairy Export Council, U.S. Poultry and Egg Export Council and California Wines to conduct three seminars in Puerto Vallarta from May 28-31.

“These seminars are necessary to update and inform key decision makers about the quality attributes, profitability and new trends related to U.S. beef and pork cuts,” said USMEF Regional Director for Mexico and the Dominican Republic Chad Russell.

Approximately 75 chefs, food and beverage managers and purchasing managers attended the seminars, which were conducted at a kitchen facility so attendees could handle and cook the products. Distributors reported increases in U.S. meat sales after the seminars.
