Mexico: FSIS Makes Changes to Online Library
Exporting members should refer to the online FSIS Export Library for recent updates on the regulations for export to Mexico and an updated list of approved plants. Please note the following changes:
- U.S. ovine products can be exported to Mexico from U.S. ovine of all ages. The previous requirement was for lambs 12 months of age and under.
- The six U.S. plants that were delisted on Oct. 17, 2008, were relisted yesterday and are now permitted to resume exporting to Mexico.
- Additional Language to be included in the FSIS Letterhead Certificate for Prepared Beef Products (Bovine) Intended for Export to Mexico has been updated
