Mexico Delays New Combo Inspection Procedures until Sept. 1

USMEF-Mexico staff has learned that SAGARPA, the Mexican agency that oversees agriculture, ranching, rural development, fisheries and food supply, has announced that it will not implement any new procedures related to inspection of meats in combo bins before Sept. 1, 2009.  The most recent implementation date had been set for June 30, 2009.
