Home On The Range Movie Première Attracts 1950 Buyers Of U.S. Beef And Pork
With funding from the United Soybean Board, USMEF sponsored the Guadalajara première of the Disney movie Home on the Range by teaming up with two major Mexican retailers and promoting U.S. beef and pork at 34 area supermarkets. The event attracted 1950 children and their parents who had bought between five and ten U.S. beef or pork items in order to attend. The Spanish-language version, entitled, Vacas Vaqueras, was a perfect choice since it centers on the adventures of farm animals.
More details of the promotion are in an online USMEF press release.
