Malaysia Pork Suspension Officially Lifted

On June 4, USMEF reported that an announcement had been made by Malaysia lifting all A-H1N1 influenza-related suspensions on U.S. pork and pork products. The FSIS Export Library has now been officially updated to reflect this change, effective June 3.

Thailand (effective April 21) and Indonesia (effective April 27) are now the only countries in the ASEAN region with suspensions in place for U.S. pork. If you have questions regarding these restrictions, please contact Kevin Smith at ksmith@usmef.org.
