Kazakhstan Lifts H1N1-Related Pork Ban

Kazakhstan is the latest country to remove its H1N1-related suspension of U.S. pork exports. Since April 27, Kazakhstan had banned pork from California, Kansas and Texas. The suspension has been lifted effective October 19, with publication of this change appearing in the FSIS Export Library earlier today. Exporters should note that products derived from swine slaughtered in California, Kansas or Texas between April 27 and October 19 remain ineligible.
