U.S. Pork Processed Products – Get Involved In U.S. Meat Month

USMEF Japan will hold a U.S. Meat Extravaganza Appreciation Banquet on July 19 in Tokyo to underscore the close relationship and appreciation between the U.S. and Japanese industries. At least 400 key executives and buyers of Japanese companies and influential media are invited. And as a member of USMEF, you are invited to participate too.

To take advantage of this unique opportunity, USMEF is setting up a U.S. pork processed products showcase to display products and provide samples to this group of highly qualified buyers and decision makers. With relatively low duty rates for sausages, key Japanese buyers and company executives will get a first hand chance to taste and see the quality of American products.

Participating companies will be asked to provide and ship samples for the event, but other related activity costs, such as exhibition fees, cooking staff and equipment and refrigeration will be covered by USMEF. Members will need to cover airfare, lodging and transportation costs. For more information or to register, please contact USMEF Japan Director Greg Hanes by e-mail at ghanes@usmef.org. Deadline to register is June 8.
