Real American Hot Dogs In Yokohama
USMEF-Japan is introducing “real American hot dogs” at the 24th Yokohama port festival, a very popular event in a major Japanese city.
The festival is held on the Yokohama waterfront, June 1 and 2, and even the schools close. Last year 750,000 people turned up and USMEF-Japan sees the event as a chance to hammer home the message that American hot dogs are made with U.S. pork.
The USMEF booth will hand out delicious American hot dog samples to visitors and survey them by asking them to fill out questionnaires.
USMEF-Japan wants member companies to participate in this excellent opportunity to bring their products to the attention of consumers and judge their performance in the Japanese market. Products must be imported by Japanese private companies for a product tasting event and donated. USMEF is unable to import products. Samples must arrive at the site by May 31. Companies which provide samples can display their logos at the USMEF booth. USMEF will obtain 50 questionnaires on the products and provide feedback. If brochures are sent with the samples, these will be handed out to consumers, too.
Please e-mail the following application form to Vice President, International Programs Tom Lipetzky, tlipetzky@usmef.org, by May 13.
