January 29: Save The Date For Nassau Seminar/Mini Trade Show

USMEF is sponsoring (along with USAPEEC, USDEC and the Wine Institute) a foodservice seminar and mini-trade show in Nassau on Tuesday, January 29.  The meat portion of the venue will feature USMEF members and their products cooked by guest chefs from four major properties in the Bahamas (Baha Mar, Atlantis, Sandals and Our Lucaya) at the College of the Bahamas.

The “Tastes, Trends & Profitability” seminar will be divided into four main modules representing all the cooperators:  Reviewing Cheese Usage trends in Foodservice; Maximizing Profit Potential with U.S. Meat; How, when and why to use pre-cooked poultry products; and a wine tasting seminar.  A mini-trade show (featuring suppliers who attend) will be available during all seminar breaks and immediately afterwards.  As a bonus, a fundraising dinner at the famous Graycliff restaurant will showcase additional products from members.  The cost of participation is free; product and travel expenses must be paid by attending members.

The Bahamian trade, importers and key customers have been advised of the event and leading chefs and food and beverage managers from the outer Bahamas islands will be flown in for the day — a great way to meet and greet in one spot!

If you are interested in being a part of this event, please contact USMEF Caribbean Consultant Liz Wunderlich immediately by e-mail (wunderlc@hctc.net) or phone (830-997-6319).
