AgTC Encourages Shippers To Sign Fee Opposition Letter Today
According to the Agriculture Transportation Coalition (AgTC), opposition continues to build against a bill that would impose a $60/FEU fee on all containers moving through ports in Los Angeles, Long Beach and Oakland. All eyes are on California since other states likely will pass similar bills if the California Legislature passes this bill and it is signed into law.
A letter opposing the bill will go to the California Legislature this evening (May 9). AgTC encourages organizations to sign this letter. To do so, e-mail the name of your company or organization to Peter Friedmann at OurManInDC@FederalRelations.com by 5:00 p.m. Pacific time today.
For more information, see the AgTC bulletin.
